Andrex Issues

Today I saw an advert on TV for Andrex toilet paper; you know the one I'm talking of - with that Labrador puppy. The unique selling point and purpose of this advert was to announce that Andrex toilet paper is now even better - because each piece is now emblazoned with a cute little image of the puppy. I cannot help feeling slightly aggravated by this. Why? Because I question it.

Will this improvement provide me a product any better than Andrex was before? Will it feel softer against my skin or help me enjoy my bathroom time more? No, probably not. Sad thing is I know people must be suckered in by this gimmickry rubbish because advertisers continue to do it. I'd love to see a day when I'm not surrounded by corporate fakery, pointless novelty crap and the usual day-to-day bullshit. I'd start a revolution, but my wife won't let me.

Does this puppy somehow make my ass cleaner? If not then i dont see the point of having images on toilet paper...

Who knows, maybe people enjoy the idea of rubbing a puppy's face on their arse...

"because it just wouldn't be right to have a real dog lick your arse..." honest advertising is the way forwards.

Labrador? Really? I heard rabbits were better for this - it has to do with the fact that rabbit furr is more abrasive (although I'm told it's not as bad as sandpaper).
Maybe you should get the opinion of a scatophile on this subject!

I'm personally waiting for them to produce a toilet roll with images of big brother housemates on them... :)

I fail to see how having an animal of any species will aid in my bathroom experience. Sounds like management wanted a boost in their sales without actually doing anything different.
