I was saddened to hear of the untimely death of Australia's Steve Irwin last week. The popular wildlife fanatic was stung through the heart by a stingray, so the newspapers told me. I am however glad that he met his end in such a fitting manner, doing what he loved the most. We'll miss ya Steve!
On a similar, more cheery subject I'm glad to inform you that Paul Hogan's Crocodile Dundee is on at 3:15pm today on terrestrial Chanel 3. Crikey!

Im glad he went out doing what he loved. But now all you hear about in the fucking media is when he brought his son Bob near the croc. during that one event. He's a fucking expert, so back off!

Anyway, i just think its sad that a man dies and the media still brings up something like this up... - On 10th September 2006 J Phill said:

Well the media will always be the media, and drain the life out of a story as long as it gets attention. As far as Steve Irwin, it is very unfortunate, but you can't ask for a better way to go out than doing what you love.

It definitely was a sad story. Stupidity seems to be reigning supreme on both sides. :(
